Coprocess will be exhibiting at
the
Eurofinance
International Cash and Treasury
Management Conference at
the Austria Center in Vienna. We will be there to demonstrate
Coprocess.Netting, our new .net netting platform.
Coprocess hosted its 4th User Group Meeting in Geneva.
The very successful seminar attracted over 50 people from Europe and the US, who took part in different presentations and workshops, as well as an introduction of coprocess.netting, the new .NET version of the netting sofware.
With support resources in Europe,
the US and Japan, Coprocess is able to offer a 24 hour global support
service during the business week.
We are delighted to welcome
Stefan Larson to the Coprocess team. Stefan brings with him over 20
years of banking experience, the last 10 in cash management. Stefan is an expert on netting in general and NT Netting /
Intranetting in particular having been the netting product manager at
SEB for the last 5 years (SEB use the Coprocess netting system).
We are delighted to
welcome Robert Jonsson to the Coprocess team. Robert joins us from
DHL and will work in product support. Robert is a certified MCSE and
bring with him much valued technical expertise.
Andrew Goldie presented the
Coprocess vision for netting at the Dresdner bank annual cash
management symposium.
Coprocess
exhibited at the Eurofinance
International Cash and Treasury Management Conference at the
Firenze Fiera in Florence. We were there to demonstrate NT Netting
and IntraNetting our browser-based netting solution.

The first
of Coprocess's planned workshops took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel
in Geneva. The short informal workshop featured case studies from two
Coprocess netting clients:
- Assa Abloy - Payable driven netting
- Alstom - Receivable driven netting

Coprocess
SA announces the successful implementation of its new software netting
system at BASF treasury division in Ludwigshafen, Germany. The
Coprocess SA netting system was installed in February 2005 and became
operational in March. Today the system is settling over 50,000 invoices
per netting run, with 140 on-line participants, in 40 countries and 23
currencies.
BASF had been running a bank-based netting system since 1988. In order
to improve productivity, BASF needed to move from a gross flow basis to
an invoice basis and have fully automated links for both upload into
the netting and download into SAP for booking. To do this they needed
to change their system. After extensive evaluation BASF chose the
netting system from the Swiss specialist Coprocess SA. The new system
is browser based and runs at invoice level. It gives all subsidiaries
on line access to the netting and substantially reduces the workload at
the netting centre.
“We have been supplying major corporations and banks with our
proprietary netting systems over the past 15 years, offering a product
that is constantly kept up to date to meet customer’s
requirements” says Andrew Goldie, director of Coprocess SA,
he continues “ It is extremely gratifying for our Geneva
based company to have added BASF to our list of satisfied clients,
knowing how demanding this company is in selecting their
suppliers”.
One of the netting system major features is its capability to interface
with SAP, allowing upload of invoices directly from accounts payables
and accounts receivables for matching and netting, to downloading
settled invoices for automatic booking. In addition the system handles
the export of net flows for settlement into the SAP in house bank
solution. The result is a STP (Straight Through Processing) rate of 99%
on the processing of invoices.
SEB and
Coprocess have hosted a two day User Group Meeting at the SEB
Headquarters in Stockholm. With over 40 participants, the seminar
comprised both hands-on workshops and formal presentations including
the first view of version 8, the .NET compliant next generation of the
system.
Coprocess
exhibited at the 17th Finanzsymposium in Mannheim
on 20-22 April 2005. We also presented during 4 x 30 minute workshops
our complete Intercompany Management Tool. Presentations were given in
both English and German.
We are
delighted to announce that Roger Joerg is joining the Coprocess team.
Roger brings with him a wealth of corporate treasury experience. He has
spent many years in corporate treasury including five years at ABB
Treasury in Zurich where he was responsible for all group company
issues such as Cash Pooling, Netting, Financing and Foreign Exchange.
More recently Roger was Group Treasurer of Alstom where he was
responsible for implementing world-wide subsidiary financing, the
receivable driven Coprocess Netting System and a new treasury system.

Netting at Air Liquide: Setting up an Inter-company Clearing System
on Day 2 of the
Eurofinance ICTM Conference in Paris.
Coprocess
director Andrew Goldie will be giving a joint presentation with
International Paper at the Corporate Treasury, Empowered
with Business Involvement conference in Brussels on "Global
Netting, a low cost approach of trans-border multi-currencies

Palau de Congressos de Catalunya in Barcelona, where Rick Rohrs of
Alstom gave a presentation of running a complete receivable netting
solution using the Coprocess system.
