Netting is, at the most basic level, a simple process. Corporates that are new to netting will not usually require any of the more advanced functionality that NT Netting offers.

For this reason, Coprocess has endeavoured to make the netting as simple as possible in its default configuration. The system is very easy to install and only a few basic questions need to be answered to complete the configuration.

However, it has been our experience that corporates invariably develop more complex requirements as their Netting Centre becomes more aware of the more intricate aspects of netting. Perhaps they want to implement pools, or move to invoice-based netting. Perhaps, they want to run the Netting Centre as a cost centre and thereby make it ‘pay for itself’. Perhaps they want to encourage their users to avoid certain currencies and want to charge more for using these. Perhaps, for whatever reasons, they want more control over which currencies are converted.

Over the years, NT Netting has incorporated many highly powerful and configurable features which can satisfy the more discerning customers but that do not confuse users of a simpler configuration. This feature list aims to provide a checklist of all functionality. However, it should be understood that almost all of them are optional and need not concern the less demanding Netting Centre.
