Coprocess hosted its User Group Meeting Thursday 15 and Friday 16 May 2014 at the Hotel Barcarolle, Nyon, Switzerland. This was our seventh User Group Meeting (UGM) and was open to all Coprocess Netting Clients. As with previous years the event was held over 2 days. It started at 1:30pm on Thursday 15 May and finished at lunch time on Friday 16 May. There was be a dinner hosted by Coprocess on the evening of Thursday.
Since the last UGM (June 2012) there have been many changes to both what we offer and how we offer it. We see the meeting as a key event and opportunity to improve and encourage two way dialogue between Coprocess and our clients. The UGM offers two days of client and Coprocess presentations, hands-on workshops and live demonstrations. In addition, staff from Coprocess are there to provide their unique expertise and insight.
The agenda included the following case studies:
- Atlas Copco: adding month end reconciliation and broadening the scope of multilateral netting
- BASF: interfacing netting with SAP
- Nestlé: on their multilateral netting system
- Sandvik: on pooling and payments
as well as these other topics:
- Savings from multilateral netting
- Hands on demo of new features including Intercompany Reconciliation, Settle Only Matched, mismatch analysis grid.
- Using hedges in multilateral netting
- Single Sign-on and good housekeeping
- Vendor payments (payment factory)
... and an exciting talk by Professor Tejinder Virdee on Exploring the Universe Moments after the Big Bang.
For us the UGM is about interaction, listening to and speaking to our clients, continue the discussion on social media:
