Settle Only Matched

There are many different ways to run a multilateral netting system. No two corporates are the same and therefore they have different needs for their netting solution. The Coprocess system allows for 3 different methods of multilateral netting:

• Payable Driven Netting
• Receivable Driven Netting
• Settle Only Matched

Coprocess also allows for a third type of settlement. Settle only matched is a hybrid between payable driven and receivable driven. It settles only the invoices where the Accounts Payable (AP) and the Accounts Receivable (AR) match. Although this can be seen as a useful compromise between Payable driven and Receivable driven, the difficulty comes in encouraging the Payer to do their work. If the payer does not wish an invoice to be paid then they can simply not put it in the netting and in Settle only matched it will not be settled.
